Generate Ragdoll
If you have a skeletal model selected, this button will generate a basic ragdoll to fit it. This will not generate a good, accurate ragdoll, it is used as a handy quickstart tool.

Select Root Bone
Selects the root bone of the selected skeletal model.

Align To Bone Position
If a bone and one or more objects are selected, this will set all the objects to the exact position of the bone. Especially handy for positioning joints.

Selected Primitive Type
  If you have a primitive selected, then this tool allows you to change the shape of the primitive without messing up the rest of the scene (eg joint and actor attachments, settings...).

Selected Joint Type
This is the same as number 4, except it allows you to change joint types without detaching them or changing any settings.

Bone Thickness
This is a visual aid only. It alters the thickness of all bones displayed in the editor.
